OCTAER: Strategic Facilitator for Culture, Innovation & Territorial Networking in Emilia-Romagna

Partner with OCTAER to tap into a network of 79 municipalities. We facilitate stakeholder engagement, bridge TRL/SRL, and support territorial impact assessment.

OCTAER: Your Strategic Interface for the Emilia-Romagna Innovation Ecosystem

OCTAER – Observatory for Culture, Tourism and Audiovisual – acts as a Strategic Connector and Facilitator for international consortia seeking territorial engagement and stakeholder mobilization in Italy. We operate as the interface for a Distributed Living Lab model within the Emilia-Romagna region.

Our Strategic Assets:

Territorial Networking: We facilitate dialogue and engagement across a network of 79 Municipalities and 150+ localized creative entities (Event Lab Community). We provide the bridge to access diverse morphological environments (urban, rural, mountain) for context-based analysis.

Scientific Rigor: All facilitation activities are supported by our independent Scientific Technical Committee (CTS), providing high-quality data and territorial insights to satisfy Open Science mandates.

Administrative Facilitation: Our internal Octa-EUR department specializes in the strategic design of EU grants and administrative coordination, easing the bureaucratic burden for the lead coordinator.

Why partner with us?

Innovation Interface: Based in Italy's "Data Valley" (home to the LEONARDO supercomputer), we facilitate connections within the top-ranked Italian region for innovation and R&D.

Social & Gender Impact: Emilia-Romagna ranks 1st in Italy in the Gender Equality Index (IGEI 2024). We support consortia in meeting Horizon Europe GEP requirements and social inclusion targets.

Economic Catalyst: We operate as a raccordo for an €8.2 billion regional cultural engine, supporting the identification of sustainable development pathways.

Operational Contributions:

Facilitation of needs analysis and mapping of emerging territorial skills.

Support for the territorial validation of digital storytelling and AI-driven tools.

Stakeholder engagement via the Quadruple Helix model.

Dissemination and facilitation of high-impact local activation.
