OceanBound Unity

"OceanBound Unity," an Erasmus+ youth exchange initiative unfolding in El Palmar, Spain, transcends traditional project boundaries by addressing two pivotal challenges – ocean plastic pollution and social inclusion among the youth. Rooted in the stunning coastal locale, this transformative project interlaces environmental consciousness, sports engagement, and digital tools to empower participants and organizations alike.

With a focus on direct environmental action, the project aims to elevate awareness about ocean plastic pollution. Aligned with the SUP EU law, beach clean-ups stand as tangible steps toward fostering a cleaner, healthier marine ecosystem. Concurrently, the project leverages the unifying power of water and outdoor sports, particularly surfing, to dismantle cultural barriers and celebrate diversity among participants. The project’s ethos extends beyond the physical realm, delving into youth empowerment and health promotion. Self-empowerment sessions are designed to underscore the intrinsic link between individual health and ecological balance, promoting overall well-being.
