In response to the challenges faced by immigrant and refugee children with special education needs, the special education departments of [Polish University - Akademii Pedagogiki Specjalnej im. Marii Grzegorzewskiej], and [Turkish University - Adnan Menderes Üniversitesi] collaborate on Project KA220-HED. The project aims to develop a non-verbal intelligence test to identify children with mental deficiencies and learning disabilities, addressing linguistic and cultural barriers faced by immigrant populations. The ultimate goal is facilitating their integration into the educational system and broader society.
