NO GAP - Gender equality

- We are looking for 4 partners from different EU member states to take part at our proposal.

The proposal is coordinated by Cooperativa Camera a Sud and it is supposed to start since December 2016 and last for 24 months.

CONTEXT
Education, training and youth policies have a key role to play in fostering social inclusion, mutual understanding and respect among young people and communities.
These policies were remarked in the Paris Declaration and support the fundamental values that lie at the heart of European Union: pluralism, non-discrimination, tolerance, justice, solidarity and equity between women and men. The results of the Gender Equality Index show that there have been visible, albeit marginal, improvements between 2005 and 2012 in the domains covered by the Gender Equality Index. With an overall score of 52.9 out of 100 in 2012, the EU remains only halfway towards equality.

AIM
The project is aimed at preventing violent radicalisation and promoting democratic values, fundamental rights, intercultural understanding and active citizenship.

OBJECTIVES
- Promoting gender equality in the learning environment, combating gender stereotypes
and preventing gender-based violence.
- Supporting teachers and educators in handling conflicts and dealing with diversity.

PROGRAMME ACTIVITIES
The project is focused on an Italian good practice we are to disseminate and upscale in European Union through the partners collaboration: they’re called for testing and realizing the mentioned good practice in their context. The project main activity consists in producing effective communication tools (such as: web documentary, platform, educational kits) aimed at realizing training activities in learning (formal and non-formal) environments.
In order to reach our goals, we need partners that shares our social enterprise values and principles - working in the field of non-discrimination, tolerance, justice, solidarity - experienced in web communication, education and training in formal and non-formal environments.

TARGET GROUP: Teachers and educators, students (aged 14-18), youth (aged 14 – 35).
