Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnerships project on new methods and techniques for youth empowerment
The Progetto H Social Cooperative is looking for partners with whom to develop an Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnerships. Progetto H’s main idea is to give continuity to its previous project named PRO.M.ED.AS (which was financed under the Rural Development Programme 2007 – 2013) in order to study, refine and test at European level the approach used in the project, the informal methods of learning applied in it, the experiential dimension as a vehicle for language learning as well as the potential realization of a model of learning to be tested on a large scale in rural areas.
The above mentioned project had included thirteen Sardinian municipalities of small size (> 5,000 inhabitants) and it had involved young people aged between 10 and 15 who have had the opportunity to learn about the labour market by visiting enterprises operating in the agricultural sector as well as the production system and food processing in the farm.
In the Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnerships project, Progetto H intends to involve a different target: young people aged between 17 and 30 years (belonging to the category of NEET) with whom:
- promote placements/training courses based on informal methods in enterprises based in rural area of Sardinia and operating in rural area in the agribusiness, textile and entrepreneurial sector (eg. n. 3 training sessions in Sardinia);
- identify new participation and learning methodologies (e.g. Theatre Techniques for Youth Inclusion and Empowerment) to be tasted during the training session on an identified target;
- define a teaching and motivational approach suitable to a target of young people who live in territories with characteristics/problems similar to rural areas;
- to find local economic development strategies to promote the interaction and the dialogue among the economic and institutional stakeholders of the rural areas in order to respond to the problem of NEETs’ work experience placements and training need.
Partner profile:
We are looking for at least 2 organisations active either in the youth sector and specifically in the study/research of non-formal/informal training models for young people of working age (eg. Universities, research centres, business associations, theatre associations, etc.) or in local rural development projects.
With this project, we are applying for the 1st of October 2015 Erasmus+ Deadline.
If you are interested in becoming partner in this project please send us via email (to progettoh@gmail.com) both the attached Partner Identification Form and the Mandate signed and stamped until the 17th of September 2015.
