NEW COMMUNICATION IN THE 4.0 AGE

New media education as a tool with which to protect young people from the pitfalls of new technologies. Funded and concluded.

Up to now, education in new media has been the tool with which to protect young people from the pitfalls of new technologies. Today, we ask ourselves more and more `` what do kids do on the net? '' The purpose of technological education is to develop and strengthen a critical attitude towards the internet, virtual games, social networks so that young people they can learn to defend themselves, to have a critical spirit and initiative to be protagonists both in the learning period and in the working one. Young people are not the only recipients of messages on the internet, so too are families, educators, schools and institutions that play a role in the education of children.
The technological education in this house aims to build the conditions that allow the public to read the messages in a critical way. To do this, we need to be aware of the scenario in which young people use new media:

1. the mobility and multimedia of all the devices that prevent adults from being able to verify the use that young people make of their devices

2. interactivity that allows you to establish a flow of multidirectional relationships with other users and to build social relationships of various kinds 3. the possibility of being authors, of passing from a passive state of message recipients to having a spirit of initiative, be broadcasters and be able to generate audiences interested in our content.

Objectives of the project:

1. Provide young people with the main cognitive and technical tools to ensure informed internet browsing, both on personal computers and smartphones, with particular regard to the phenomenon of privacy in relation to social networks and communities. All this also with reference to cyberbullying and the dangers related to disabled and disadvantaged people.

2. Increase your knowledge, skills and abilities.

3. Improve one's behavior towards new technologies and new ways of communicating also in relation to the world of work. All this also with reference to one's training, one's aptitudes and one's passions.

4. Increase critical thinking.

5. Promote responsibility and respect for the rules of coexistence in every environment (school, work, social, etc.)

6. Acquire a conscious management of the spirit of initiative, participation and expression of one's creativity.

7. Improving one's language skills through the use of new 4.0 technologies, structured dialogue and comparison between peers.

Related objectives of the Erasmus + Program: General objectives: objectives of the Europe2020 strategy, general objectives of the renewed framework for European cooperation in the youth field (2010-2018) and promotion of European values ​​pursuant to Article 2 of the Treaty on European Union.

Specific objectives: To improve the level of key competences and skills of young people, including those with fewer opportunities, as well as to promote their participation in democratic life in Europe and the labor market, active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, social inclusion and solidarity. Priorities and objectives Action KA1 Related youth: Integrate policy reforms at local, regional and national level and support the development of a knowledge and evidence-based youth policy and recognition of non-formal learning and inform, in particular through enhanced political cooperation. Increase the international dimension of activities in the youth field. Acquire knowledge and skills, through mobility experiences, that can be spent on the job market. Become aware of socially relevant topics / thematic areas. Discover new cultures, habits and lifestyles, especially through peer learning. Strengthen values ​​such as solidarity, democracy, friendship, etc.
