NEETs FOR CHILDREN IN NEED

The main topic of the youth exchange will be the social-economical-educational inclusion of young generations which will be approached from two sides. On the one hand, the majority of participants directly involved in the project will be NEET (not in employment, education and training) youngsters willing to develop skills, competences that can enhance their chances to employment. On the other hand, through the activities we intend to facilitate the social inclusion of children in need, especially orphans. The project also aims to promote the importance of volunteering among youngsters.

During the youth exchange, the participants will get to know the functioning of social system of each country (how they help people in need) and will offer help in the local orphanage. The activities in the orphanage will include: helping children with their homework, organizing different workshops and sports activities for them, helping in physical activities around the house (preparing meals, repairing, painting and decorating, gardening, etc.). The youth exchange will include intercultural activities too, like intercultural night and national cultural nights.

We are looking for partners who are able to send a group consisted of 5 participants aged 18 – 30 and 1 group leader who must be over the age of 18 (no upper age limit). The participants should be interested in the topic of the youth exchange and open to communicate and work with children struggling with social difficulties (orphans, semi-orphans). We would like to include partners who are able to select also NEET participants.

We will apply with the project for the 4th of October deadline.
