“Need education to work (netWORK)” is a 7-day Partnership Building activity that involves partners from EU, SEE and EECA countries aiming to empower youth workers to overcome youth employment issues in their own countries. During the project sharing of the best practices on youth employment will be organized. Additionally, participants will discover job opportunities available for all participant countries and will receive input from trainers and experts during study visits and group discussions. This will lead to a creation of a common tool that will be used by participants to empower young job seekers to their local communities to find jobs. The project targets youth workers who work or start to work with job seeking youngsters in their countries and are ready to share their experience on youth unemployment with international counterparts.
The project objectives are:
-To share the experience on youth (un)employability issues of the participating countries and exchange best practices about the topic.
-To create a network between youth workers involved in youth (un)employment issues.
-To provide an input from the trainers and experts of the field
-To get hints on how to write a competitive CV and motivation/cover letter
- To get informed about international job opportunities provided by various job finding organizations
-To provide youth workers with a knowledge on how to motivate youngsters to transfer from “jobless” to “job seekers”
-To promote volunteering as a connecting bridge from student to become employee.
-To inform about the opportunities Erasmus+ gives to youth as a positive input in finding jobs

The project fulfills 3 aims of a mobility project (see I, II, VI) and also supports aim (See V) of international mobility activities from or to Partner Countries in the fields of higher education and youth. Particularly, project aims to support learners in the acquisition of competences (knowledge, skills and attitudes) with a view on improving their personal development and employability in the European labor market and beyond. The target of the project are youth workers who support the professional development of those who work in education, training and youth with a view on innovating and improving the quality of teaching, training and youth work across Europe. The PBA is designed to use volunteering, internship and exchange program opportunities to reinforce synergies and transitions between formal, non-formal education and employment. Moreover, the project aims to strengthen contacts and establish partnership between Programme and partner countries promoting non-formal learning and cooperation in the field of youth.
The methodology used in the PBA will be Non-formal education. Plenary sessions, exchanges of ideas, group presentation, trainers and experts’ input, working in smaller groups, role-games, forum theatres, study visits and NGO fairs will be the methods foreseen to reach the best possible result on overcoming unemployment in local realities. Energizers, group building, city game, Cultural trip and after-session activities (welcome evening, Country/culture presentation, See you soon party) will stimulate more enthusiastic approach to the topic among the participant and will create strong partnership between the partners that will lead to additional success during and after the project.
The main theme of the project is youth unemployment we consider that Educational qualifications are still the best insurance against unemployment. The PBA is designed to pass youth workers with skills, attitude, experience, new approaches to empower youngsters in their local communities get employed. The exchanges of best practices, working on common projects will enable the participants from various countries create common tool to use during their follow up activities in their home countries. Special attention will be taken to competences and skills to youth workers that will help them to work with people with fewer opportunities and motivate them in finding jobs.
Eligible countries for partnership; Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Spain, Greece, Croatia, Cyprus, Ukraine, Moldova, Turkey, Georgia and Belarus.
