NAPOLINGO: Exploring Self-Identity Through the Neapolitan Language and Culture

A 9-day Erasmus+ exchange in Pozzuoli exploring Neapolitan language through music, theatre and culture as tools for identity and inclusion.

“NAPOLINGO” is an Erasmus+ youth exchange in Pozzuoli, where the Neapolitan language becomes a living bridge between past and present, identity and creativity. For 9 days, 40 young people from across Europe will immerse themselves in workshops, street interviews, music, theatre, and cultural challenges. Together, they will discover how dialects can strengthen European unity, challenge stereotypes, and inspire new artistic expressions. In the vibrant setting of Naples’ traditions, participants will not only learn the language, but experience it as the heartbeat of a community—turning cultural heritage into a shared tool for dialogue, inclusion, and innovation.
