Already developed, already evaluated, now ready for a stronger comeback! My Next Step helps 16–19-year-olds navigate skills, careers, AI and future choices.
My Next Step – helping young people answer “What now?”
Choosing what to study, what skills to develop or what career to follow is difficult enough. Add AI, rapidly changing professions and an uncertain labour market, and the question becomes even harder:
“What should I do after school?”
My Next Step is an Erasmus+ KA210-YOU project for young people aged approximately 16–19, designed to help them make more informed and confident decisions about their education, skills and future careers.
Through practical and non-formal learning activities, participants will:
* discover their strengths, interests and transferable skills;
* explore different education and career pathways;
* understand how AI and technological change are influencing jobs and future skills;
* meet and learn from people with real professional experience;
* turn reflection into action through an individual My Next Step Plan.
We are not starting from zero
The project was previously submitted under Erasmus+ KA210-YOU.
Instead of putting the idea in a drawer, we decided to use the evaluator feedback and come back with a much stronger version.
This time we want: fewer activities, clearer results, stronger youth participation, measurable impact and a partnership where every organisation brings real expertise.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an organisation with strong experience in youth work and direct engagement with young people, interested in taking the coordinator role and shaping the revised proposal together with us.
Experience or interest in career guidance, youth empowerment, future skills, employability, education-to-work transition or digital transformation would be particularly relevant.
We envisage a focused consortium of three organisations from three countries, bringing complementary expertise rather than simply adding partners for numbers.
Euro Academy will contribute its experience in European projects, education and training, project development, learning activities, quality and transfer.
We are looking for partners who want to co-create the next version with us, challenge the existing concept where needed and help turn a promising idea into a stronger Erasmus+ project.
If your organisation works with young people who are asking themselves “What next?”, we would love to hear from you.
