My Home is Your Home: On this earth nobody is a foreigner

In these years, Europe is going through a period of great transformation and is faced with new and serious problems: Euroscepticism, wars, terrorism, immigration. These are issues on which young people are called to commit themselves to discuss, collaborate, build paths of peace and friendship.

It is vital for the future of Europe and the world, that the youth of European and non-European countries, ethnic groups and different cultures, develop a unifying vision of peace against all kinds of oppression and violence.

The project “My Home is Your Home: On this earth nobody is a foreigner” will realized during the september of 2017. During the meeting, the Italian organization will host 25 young participants coming from countries partner (ages from 18-30 years) to reflect on a subject that has touched us all: the future of Europe and how young people see Europe, the Euroscepticism, the terrorism and migration. The symbolic words of this youth exchange project is a sentence of Marrtin Luther Kings "We must learn to live together as brothers or we will perish together as fools " and following this idea we have found the title of the project : "My Home is Your Home: On this earth nobody is a foreigner ".

The project will bring together young people from 5 European countries to exchange their views on the future of Europe, on the role that Europe can play in the peace and communicate their ideas through:
Workshops on storytellers: collection of stories about the countries and about welcome theme of diversity and their representation through drawings, paintings, artifacts. The stories will be collected and published in an ebook;
Workshop on stereotypes: work on stereotypes regarding each of the participating countries; relationship between collective imagination and vision of young participants; representation in small theatrical scenes; making of the video;
Workshop on Europe: how young people view Europe; the keywords and their artistic representation (painting, drawing, ceramics, etc.).
