Music and beyond

Young people are more and more interested in computer and virtual connections rather than face to face encounters. Consequently, we have to deal with our youngsters lack of initiative and willingness to participate in any kind of activities unless they deal with aspects concerning their own world and interest. This is why we want to develop this project as an opportunity for youngsters to increase their motivation to join in more readily with activities happening where else but in front of the computer.
As music is widely considered to be the universal language which establishes a common bond among all people regardless of their culture, religion, gender or age, we strongly believe that emphasizing and enhancing non formal education through music will improve young people’s ability to socialise, their desire to get involved in activities and will offer them the possibility to develop their international interests and tolerance, as well as to improve their command of foreign languages and deepen their understanding of other countries and cultures.
