Multiple Q

Description of the project: Multiple Q is an Erasmus+ project that reunites 9 countries who have developed during the years in one of the multiple intelligence (musical-rhythmic and harmonic, visual-spatial, verbal-linguistic, logical-mathematical, bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, naturalistic, existential) that we will discover together during the mobility.

Through non-formal methods and activities, we want to experience all of the intelligence mentioned above (discovered by Howard Gardner), to understand what each of them means and what characteristics they have, in order to help youngsters find their specific intelligence and to develop their skills in that field. The participants need to work with young people and have direct contact with them, previous experience in non-formal education and knowledge in one of the topics that we mentioned previously.

The outcomes of this project will help a variety of teachers, youth workers, trainers, volunteers and other people that work with youngsters to understand better the needs of their target groups and to apply diverse methods and activities in order to create an environment that helps developing of multiple intelligence. In order to do this, during the training we will create a toolkit with activities specific to each intelligence discussed, in order to focus on them and to give youth workers ideas to put in practice with the people their work with. Also, we will develop a questionnaire that will be used in order to discover what kind of intelligence someone has and we will use all this tools during a final event during the training, where we will gather more young people to try and experience the activities developed. This final event will help us improve the toolkit and the questionnaire, so each participating team will return home with valuable tools for doing the dissemination activities and future projects in their community, based on the topic.

Aim: The objective of this project is to empower youth workers with the necessary tools and methods in order to help a wider range of youth discover their intelligence, that in a formal environment they wouldn’t have the possibility to discover and develop.
