Multimedia traveling exhibition "Departure. Arrival. Home"

We - ARGE Jugend gegen Gewalt und Rassismus based in Graz, Styria - are looking for two partner organizations for the development of the multimedia travelling exhibition "Departure. Arrival. Home. Narrated stories of flight and migration as an open search movement for socio-cultural anchoring and home".

Too often, people still talk about immigrants instead of with them! The project "Departure. Arrival. Home" project offers dialog formats to enter into a respectful conversation with immigrants. The dialog formats focus on the stories of migration and flight told by the people involved in the project. The autochthonous population is included in the dialog via family history, as immigrants and emigrants can be found among the ancestors of (almost) every family. Using the oral history method in moderated history workshops, documented in the form of videos, photos and three-dimensional archive material, the stories of flight and migration become an intercultural treasure and a multimedia tool for political education.

The results of the dialog work in the history workshops will be presented as a multimedia touring exhibition - in the form of texts, images and video stations. This traveling exhibition will be shown at several locations in the three partner countries.
