Movement Beyond Barriers

KA152 Youth Exchange uniting young people with and without disabilities to explore inclusive sports, empathy and intercultural learning

Movement Beyond Barriers is a KA152 Youth Exchange project that brings together young people aged 18–30, with and without disabilities, to explore inclusive sports as a tool for social participation, empathy, and intercultural learning.

Through non-formal education methods and hands-on sports activities, participants experience sport as a unifying force that promotes equality, cooperation, and mutual understanding. The project encourages active youth participation by involving young people in learning, decision-making, and reflection processes throughout the activities.

The project is implemented in two steps. The first youth exchange takes place in Türkiye and focuses on awareness-raising, group building, and inclusive sports practices. The second youth exchange, planned to be held in a partner country, builds on the learning outcomes of the first activity by deepening practical experience, strengthening intercultural exchange, and supporting the transfer of learning to different local contexts.

We are looking for partner organisations working with young people in the fields of inclusion, disability, sports, or social participation, and interested in actively contributing to the preparation, implementation, and follow-up of the project.
