chess chose to be an ancient game, which was introduced in Europe by Granada, by the Arab culture, and we are fortunate to have a thousand stories about chess that happened in Spain and Granada. This process of education and playing is part of the socialization process of every individual, so that the content of the play activity, its objectives, guidelines and methods are key to form a particular type of citizenship and therefore of society.
It is difficult to define what is chess because it has many facets, is sport, game, science, art, culture, education. All facets serve to our academics educational objectives. Teaching Thinking is the basic purpose of pedagogy and of all good education systems. Chess is an ideal place for the realization of these objectives means.
Chess is for children a noble intellect entertainment, a cultural object, a science with many facets to discover an effective tool in the education of personality.
Jean Piaget says the game is a specific way of functioning of children's intelligence as part of their adaptation to reality.
The games create student motivation, clarify difficult concepts and processes, help in social learning and capacity to integrate different processes. The games are flexible enough to meet various educational objectives at once. They are active and participatory. Provide integration and interaction within the group.
Chess has enormous potential education and training, can act as a channel for a number of important aspects of psychological, personality training. And from start to move the pieces the child and youth almost without realizing start to think, to capture ideas.
