More Cooperation, More Intergenerationality

The project aims to order to develop and promote future cooperation in projects promoting intergenerational dialogue and solidarity.

The "More Cooperation, More Intergenerationality" interested in developing intergenerational projects. In the European Year for Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations, the project aims to raise visibility and awareness of the Youth in Action Program opportunities for cooperation between Program countries and EU neighbouring countries, in order to develop and promote future cooperation in projects promoting intergenerational dialogue and solidarity.
All will have the opportunity to share their experiences and good practices, disclose ideas for future intergenerational projects and establish contacts for future partnerships. Therefore, this PBA has the objective not only to strengthen partnerships between organizations and build new contacts for the future, but also to be a meeting point for the development of concrete intergenerational projects’ design within the frameworks of the YiA Program and the European Year for Active Aging and Solidarity between Generations. The activities planned are to build reports, to promote debates, to make presentations, to join on-site visits to senior populations and to build a common framework for future work. The methods used range from role-playings to group work and informal sharing of knowledge.
Taking place in Lisbon, with the duration of 4 days the project will also provide to the participants skills on how to work ondeal with cultural diversity, making them aware about different situations happening around the world and encouraging them to act directly.
