Misinformation in the digital era

The project is about misinformation in the digital era with a focus on fake news, propaganda, online security and social media ethics to promote digital skills.

With the rise of fake news, conspiracy theories, and propaganda, distinguishing between credible information and deceptive content has become increasingly difficult. In addition, a boom in the influence of social media influencers, content creators, and online platforms not only makes it hard to filter the truth but also creates information overload. These phenomena not only erode trust in traditional and digital media but also pose a significant threat to the foundations of democratic societies. Recognizing the urgency of addressing these challenges, our project aims to address these emerging issues surrounding misinformation in the digital era.
