TC aims at capacity building of participants and partners involved, as a kind of foundation for the follow-up activities in future.
Dear future promoters,
CRPS (Centar za razvojnu politiku i saradnju – Center for Development Policy and Co-operation) from Novi Pazar in cooperation with some partners have designed a training course on minorities in conflict related contexts with name „Minorities in Europe“. Our societies are affected by the process of constant changes, so are the ways we understand certain concepts. One of them is the understanding of the term minority which, as a consequence of various processes (e.g. migration) may mean something completely different for our local societies now, than 20 years ago. The idea of this project is to 're-think minorities' - to debate over different cultural and societal understandings of minorities, their role in our societies and our countries. And most importantly - what can young people do to promote social cohesion and inclusion of people coming from different religions, ethnic or national groups. The project will provide participants with new knowledge, skills and attitudes over understanding of minorities and working towards social cohesion. It will be done in one of the most multicultural places in Europe, the city of Novi Pazar, situated at the cultural, religious, national and ethnic crossroads of Europe.
Training course, under action 3.1 of Youth in Action, will take place in Novi Pazar, Serbia in April 2014. Each promoter will send 3 participants. We are looking for promoters from Programe countries and South-East Europe, too.
If you are interested to be promoter of this Training course in your country, please send us Preliminary agreement, (duly completed and signed, then scanned) and Pertnership identification. Please leave Partnership identification in word file, so information can be easy copied to application form.
Documents should be sent by August 15th 2013 on e mail partner.crps@yahoo.com
All forms are attached.
Best regards,
CRPS
