Problem: Young people use technology in an uncontrolled manner and become addicted
Why this topic: We are living in the age of technology and technology addiction is the biggest issue of this era. Young people need to be aware of this issue.
How much effect on young people: According to the research there are 8 European Countries in the top 10 in the list of technology-addicted countries.
What is the cause: Most of the young people play games. The amount of money earned in online games attracts young people. Moreover asocial individuals discover themselves on the internet.
What kind of results are desired in project development and realization phase: Of course young people will benefit from the technology but it should be ensured that they understand the damages caused by the misuse of technology and create an understanding of conscious use of technology.
Planned activities:
Demonstration of health problems experienced by someone addicted to technology ( eye redness, posture disorder, obesity, muscle and joint problems)
Demonstration of mental problems ( adaptation problems, aggression, introvert character development, the inability to distinguish from reality and imagination, family problems)
Project Location: Canakkale, Turkey
Project Duration: 6+ 2 days
Project dates: October 2019
