The project aims to increase awareness about mental health issues amongst participants. Activities: workshops, debates, final deliverable from participants.
The idea for this project was created because there is an urgent need in Europe to address issues connected to mental illness awareness. It is believed that during conflicts the number of people who suffer from mental illness increases. As a result, it is important to tackle the issue and help increase awareness of mental illness among people who are living in Ukraine, or countries near the conflict area. In addition, there is widespread coverage of the conflict in news outlets and social media, and as a result, there are a lot of people, who are affected by the current war elsewhere in Europe.
The issue to be addressed is therefore mental illness amongst young adults due to conflict in Ukraine. However, the project will not differentiate between those, who do not have a mental illness, those, whose illness was triggered by the conflict itself and those, whose state deteriorated due to the conflict.
Partners from Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary will be prioritised.
