Youth exchange about media literacy (fake news, conspiracy websites, etc.) and it's importance for youth, especially in the context of Covid pandemics

Project "Media literacy for you(th)" ir youth Exchange Project, organised by association „Einzigartige Projekte“.

During previous couple years we had opportunity to experience a phenomena how fast fake news and information can spread, especially between young people, as we had Covid-19 pandemics, vaccines invented and a lot of conspiration theories following the events. Our society which is highly influenced by social and mass media. It is especially actual for young people who are very vulnerable by social media. So it is very important to learn how to use and evaluate information which we receive.


Project‘s aim is:
Empower youth to evaluate and use mass media
Project’s goals:
• To raise awareness about mass media and its effects for society and youth.
• To learn to differentiate fake news and reality and raise this ability both for youngsters and local communities.
• To increase media literacy of project‘s participants and related stakeholders.

Youth exchange which will take place in spring/summer 2023.

HOW TO APPLY:
1) Please send us your PIF.
2) Please write about topic's relevance in your country (please give us couple articles, numbers about media literacy and fake news situation in your country). What are the needs of your youngsters in relation to project's topic?
