Media-Art-volution: Creating bridges

This is an informal project aimed at training process and the ways in which the media and the arts can get closer to the young people through non-formal education methodology. Proceeding from that school education does not fully satisfy the needs of young people for alternative learning and in particular does not develop freely their communication and artistic skills, then this project will try to lay the direction in which communication and creative process and learning.
Major milestone in the development of the project is part of the team of the hosting organization and the volunteers involved in it to take a short training course to work on methods of non-formal education, which will increase the capacity of the organization's work and volunteers in it.
One of the activities that will be carried out by the hosting organization and the EVS volunteers is also based on the non-formal education: "Crumbs Theatre" - a method based on the informal meetings between people of all ages, which are carried out collective bread making, communication and improvisized puppet theater. Participants in the current project will be included in those meetings, it will be a good opportunity for their integration into the local community and the improvement of the project.

Another project activity is Forum Theatre. This is a field research of important issues concerning public and seeking their solutions. In this activity include all EVS and local volunteers. This theater is an attractive method of promoting public debate on issues that target group has identified as important. It reflects local issues / cases in the European community. Since this is a forum people can get involved in the construction of scenarios by changing the actions and reactions of the characters in the play. Anyone can come up on stage and experiment with their point of view and personal attitude to problem situations shown.

Part of the project refers to a project carried out by the host project "Radio forum E-volution." In this regard, volunteers will be able to engage and enrich the work of the Radio Forum in terms of point of culture and informal education. They will become part of the radio team and will get some journalistic skills. This Online platform will be developed by the volunteers experience and they would help to long term partnerships with local youth and partner organizations to be built.

Cultural diversity is a priority enshrined in this project and program "Erasmus +". During the voluntary service repeatedly as a creative process during weekly meetings the volunteers will be able to show the culture, art, history and language in his country. This will expand the horizons of the target group of the project from the local community and will allow for bilateral cultural exchanges with her.
Volunteers will participate actively in organizing and conducting one of the largest events for youth and cultural festival in the region "Summer Story", which will be held in the second month of voluntary service.
The work on the project "Media-Art-volution: Creating bridges" will participate three EVS volunteers from different Programme countries, it is open to participants with disabilities. The project start on 1st of June 2017 till 31th of May 2018 and will be implemented in the city of Sliven, Bulgaria.
