MedEu

Matera and Tetouan have been named Capitals of Culture & Dialogue for 2026. Link Association, with over 20 years of experience in European youth programs, is planning specific actions to take place between 2025 and 2026, involving young people from Italy, Morocco, and other Euro-Mediterranean countries. The aim is to promote dialogue, peace, culture, and environmental sustainability.

The collaboration may involve organizing youth exchanges, training youth workers, capacity building, and other initiatives to be defined with the partner(s). The MedEu project aims to reverse the EuroMed concept, positioning the Mediterranean as a central geographical and cultural identity in these initiatives. This project, or projects, will be planned in collaboration with the Basilicata Link association, which previously developed volunteer projects in partnership with Matera during its tenure as European Capital of Culture in 2019. We are looking for partner organizations operating in Tetouan or the surrounding region with whom we can initiate dialogue and plan joint initiatives. We are seeking organizations that work with young people and have experience with European programs such as Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps.
