Lead marketing projects, create digital campaigns, manage events & comms, and gain real-world NGO experience in Bali. Strategic minds welcome!
This is a dynamic, hands-on internship ideal for young people who are passionate about communications, strategy, and creating meaningful impact. At the Bali Dyslexia Foundation (BDF), interns will be immersed in a fast-paced NGO environment, where managing multiple timelines, adapting quickly to change, and thinking strategically are essential.
Working closely with our Founder, Dr. Andrea Carroll, you’ll help shape and implement BDF’s communications strategy. This includes creating and scheduling social media campaigns, producing email marketing content, coordinating blog posts and outreach materials, and supporting the communications behind community events. You’ll be directly involved in the creative process, from initial concept development to final edits alongside our design team.
Beyond digital content, you’ll also gain real-world experience in event management, helping plan and promote community outreach events, securing sponsorships, and strengthening BDF’s presence locally and internationally. Leadership is a key part of the role — interns will support our local team with English translation, feedback, and ensuring our messaging appeals to both domestic and global audiences.
We’re looking for candidates with strong communication skills, a sharp eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to work across cultures. An interest in marketing and nonprofit communications is essential. In return, you’ll develop tangible skills that boost your employability in a supportive, international environment — all while living on a tropical island and contributing to a powerful mission in neurodiversity and education.
Complete or near-complete English proficiency required.
