Description:

This project teaches youngsters interested in photography and/or journalism the basics of photography and photojournalism by helping them to create and publish a photo album and to make their own photo exhibition. The topic of the photo exhibition and photo album will be urban art as it's an exciting way of discovering the city and the culture. The best way of learning is learning by doing and experimenting, this project will offer participants the possibility of learning photojournalism and photo editing by giving them guidance and letting them experiment.

Objectives of the project:
* to learn about basics of professional photography and journalism in a non formal way
* to explore urban culture and graffiti and apply it in photography
* to share cultural and artistic skills and knowledge among participants
* to share good practice of participants in photography and journalism and increase their self esteem
* to create professional photo albums and enrich cultural happenings in Vilnius by making photo exhibition of participants work

Mobility will be held in Vilnius, Lithuania, and it will last 10 days. It will include number of workshops about basics of photography, photo editing, photo journalism and photo exposition. Costs are covered according to Erasmus plus manual.

The expected background of participants:
* interested in photography and / or urban art.
* interested to start using photography as a tool in their working context.
* active in urban art, graffiti artists, designers, hip-hop-ers, etc.
* able to communicate in English at a minimum level.
* 18 years +
* willing to contribute with their knowledge, experience and good practice.

We welcome participants with fewer opportunities with economic, geographical and social obstacles.

Setting up agreement with partners

For making this partnership legal all partner organisations will sign mandate letters which obliged partners to follow and complete their duties. Also in order to ensure quality implementation of the project we would like to form and sign preliminary agreement with each partner organisation before submitting the application to the National Agency. Host organisation will:

✔ Update and inform partners and participants about the project;
✔ Guide communication with the partner organisation and the National Agency;
✔ Manage administration issues (contracting procedure, finance and final reporting);
✔ Implement dissemination and exploitation of results of the project;
✔ Provide a team of qualified and experienced staff, supported by organization members
✔ to guide the activity and organise food, accommodation and venues of the activity;
✔ Ensure visibility of the Erasmus+ grant, program and logo.

Partner organisations are in charge of:

✔ Finding participants according to prearranged procedure and cooperating in the
✔ selection of participants;
✔ Organizing travel and insurances of the participants;
✔ Supporting preparation and follow-up activities, evaluation, dissemination and
✔ Exploitation of results (preparation and help in making documentation and reporting)
✔ of the project and ensure visibility of the implemented activity.
