The Partner-Finding Tool
The project aims to promote the active citizenship through the creation of youth associations
According to the priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme, an extremely crucial challenge is related to the development of social capital among young people and to the empowerment of young people and their ability to participate actively in the society. Moreover, there is a need to provide youth organizations and youth workers with training and cooperation opportunities, to develop their professionalism and the European dimension of youth work. In order to develop and support these actions, the project “Make a difference. Empower youth!” aims to promote the creation of youth
associations as a way to promote the active citizenship and also provide an alternative for young unemployed in creating their own job opportunities and have an easier access to the labour market.
The project wants also to be an opportunity for young involved in different social fields that face
difficulties to promote their activities to a wider audience.
The project consists in two main activities:
The first activity is a Study Visit; participants will improve their understanding of the importance in creating youth associations, while providing opportunities to meet experienced youth associations founders and exchange of good practices. They will acquire new skills and knowledges through the active participation in conferences, workshops and outdoor activities designed to stimulate their critical thinking skills and provide them creative solutions.
The second activity is a Youth Exchange that aims to improve the skills of young people for the proper management of youth associations. Aside from getting the education and exchange on strategic management of resources, activities and communication - the emphasis will based on the practice of lead a youth association. This activity will be carried out through short workshops mainly, always using the proved methodology of informal and non-formal education. It is meant to be very practical and to provide useful tools in order to better canalize their responsibilities within youth associations.
