Low Tech, High Activity

This project is young people aged 13-17 years of age both male and female. It will be an outdoor high activity week with a concentration on low technology use.

The project will be based in a activity centre where activities such as Kayaking, Archery, Rock Climbing, sports and orienteering are included. We are a youth project with over 10 years of experience in Youth Work.
Our group of young like most today are very reliant on social media and technology, this project offers them the chance to put down their phones. tablets and laptops and engage with each other on a more traditional aspect.
This project will offer the opportunity for leadership building skills, speaking skills and rediscovery of what it means to be a young person in Europe in 2016.
Number: approx. 14 young people 5 Youth workers
Age: Young people 13-17 years of age Staff 18+years
Deadline: April
Timeframe: July/ August in Ireland and Partner Country TBC
