Looking Forward

Looking Forward is a training for those who want to have a real impact against the refugee crisis that the whole world is suffering nowadays. We will share experiences and recieve some masterclasses from cooperation professionals that will show us how to implement useful programs, away from the assistentalism and paternalism, working towards the empowerment of the people and improving their lifes in an effective way.

This project is more than a opportunity to learn how to implement and carry on humanitarian projects. It is also a way to create a network through European organisations that work towards the goal of improving the situation those who have been forced to leave their countries.

Not only if the organisation has already some cooperation progams in other countries, also if you are planning to start one in the future, this project is for you. We will learn from each other and from the professionals to reestablish the values with whom Europe was built up: solidarity and respect for the human rights.

MAIN GOALS
1. Share cooperation and human rights initiatives
2. Discuss and compare the projects carried on in third-world countries
3. Build a critical opinion towards what cooperation means
4. Learn from professionals and from each other the best way to implement human rights programs
4. Create a network of organisations in order to improve the efectiveness of our projects

The project will be carried on during May 2020 close to Barcelona, and there will attend 10 professoinals from European organisations.
