Looking for partners - Creative Europe - “Aesthetics of Access in Choreography”

EXIS Dance Company (Athens, Greece) is seeking European partners for a Creative Europe small-scale cooperation project (deadline: 5 May 2026), with an expected duration of up to 24 months, exploring the concept of “Aesthetics of Access in Choreography.” The project aims to develop a contemporary dance production where accessibility is not an add-on, but an integral artistic and dramaturgical tool (“embedded access”), incorporating elements such as audio description, sign language and relaxed performance practices from the early stages of creation.

We are looking for organisations (dance companies, collectives or institutions) with expertise in Deaf culture/sign language and/or blindness and sensory accessibility, interested in co-creation, artistic research and inclusive methodologies. The partnership will involve collaborative creation, exchange of practices and contribution to innovative accessibility tools in the performing arts.

EXIS is a professional inclusive dance organisation of disabled and non-disabled dancers, active in international collaborations and EU-funded projects, with a strong focus on accessibility, artistic excellence and inclusive education.
