Erasmus+ KA220 Youth project supporting Generation Z to navigate non-traditional careers through digital learning, career guidance and financial literacy.
CareerNavigate is an Erasmus+ KA2 Cooperation Partnership in the field of Youth addressing the growing shift of Generation Z towards non-traditional career paths such as freelancing, platform-based work, entrepreneurship and digital content creation.
While these careers offer flexibility and autonomy, they often involve significant risks related to income stability, access to social protection, long-term financial security and mental wellbeing. At the same time, current education and youth work practices rarely equip young people with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate these emerging career realities.
The project aims to respond through a holistic educational approach centred on CareerNavigate, a digital learning platform designed for Generation Z. The platform will offer modular learning pathways in areas such as financial literacy, career planning, entrepreneurship, digital skills and risk management, supported by interactive tools and simulations. Community and networking features will connect young people with peers, mentors and professionals.
In parallel, the project will deliver career counselling and guidance activities, including financial planning support, and will carry out an impact study to assess how the project influences career decision-making, resilience and long-term outlook among young people.
Target groups include young people (in education, employment or transitioning to the labour market) and youth workers.
The consortium is completed and we are currently looking for an organisation to be the coordinator.
