Looking for Applicants for Our Youth Project

Organise a cultural and traditional crafts exhibition for South Mediterranean & European communities, highlighting heritage and art by people with disabilities.

The “Traditional Heritage & Inclusive Culture Exchange” project seeks to create a dynamic exhibition and intercultural event that highlights traditional crafts, cultural expressions, and local industries from countries around the Southern Mediterranean and Europe. The project will:

Collect and showcase traditional handicrafts, cultural artefacts, and creative works from partner organisations in both regions.

Provide a platform for empowerment and visibility to groups often marginalised in cultural spaces, including youth and adults with disabilities, amputees, and individuals with cognitive or developmental challenges.

Promote intercultural understanding and mutual learning among participants through workshops, panels, cultural performances, and interactive demonstrations.

Encourage inclusive participation by adapting activities so they are accessible and engaging for all participants, especially those with special needs.

Facilitate exchange visits between partner organisations to strengthen cooperation, share good practices, and build lasting networks.

The event will be organised in collaboration with partner organisations from Europe and Southern Mediterranean countries. Activities may include craft exhibitions, skill sharing workshops, inclusive art and performance sessions, storytelling sessions, and networking forums to strengthen cultural and social inclusion.
