Objectives:
Tech_Balance project addresses digital dependency among youth by raising awareness of excessive tech use risks and teaching practical management skills. It fosters collaboration with educational institutions and NGOs to create supportive environments and develop strategies for balanced technology use, mental well-being, and social interaction. The project aims to empower youth to navigate the digital world responsibly, improving their well-being and community engagement.
The "Tech Balance" project aims to combat youth digital dependency through a comprehensive approach that includes awareness campaigns, skill development workshops, and collaboration with local stakeholders. In addition to creating innovative tools such as guides and apps to promote balanced technology use and offline interactions, the project will also incorporate peer-led discussions and mentorship programs to foster community engagement.
The "Tech Balance" project aims to reduce digital dependency among youth by raising awareness of excessive tech use and promoting healthier habits. It seeks to improve participants' digital management skills and mental well-being while strengthening community ties through collaboration with local stakeholders. Innovative tools, like guides and apps, will support balanced technology use, and ongoing evaluation will ensure long-term sustainability.

Target Groups: Youth:The primary focus is on young people [15-24] who will benefit from enhanced digital literacy,mental health resources,skills development for responsible technology use. Educators and Trainers: Teachers and trainers will be engaged to improve their capacity to teach digital literacy and promote safe internet practices among students. Parents and Caregivers: This group will receive support and education on managing technology use at home, helping them guide their children in developing healthy digital habits. Community Organizations: Local organizations involved in youth engagement and mental health will be targeted to foster collaborative efforts in promoting responsible technology use. Policy Makers: Engaging with local and regional policy makers will ensure that the project's findings and strategies can influence broader policies related to youth, education, and technology. By addressing these target groups, the project aims to create a comprehensive approach to combat digital dependency and promote healthier relationships with technology across the community. The project will address the identified needs through several targeted strategies: Enhancing Digital Literacy:The project will implement targeted training programs that focus on developing digital literacy skills among youth.This includes practical workshops that teach participants how to effectively navigate technology,evaluate digital sources,create their own content,thereby reducing the risks associated with digital dependency. Promoting Mental Health Awareness:To support mental well-being,the project will incorporate educational resources ,workshops that address the psychological impacts of technology use.These sessions will help young people manage stress&anxiety related to their digital interactions. Encouraging Active Citizenship:The initiative will foster a sense of responsibility among youth by encouraging their participation in community initiatives,awareness campaigns about responsible technology use.This engagement will empower them to become proactive change-makers in their communities. Developing Employability Skills:The project will focus on enhancing employability by providing training in entrepreneurship,essential digital skills.This preparation is crucial for helping young people secure jobs in a technology driven economy. Educating on Internet Safety:The project will include educational components on internet safety,equipping participants with knowledge about privacy protection,recognizing online risks such as cyber bullying. By addressing these needs through comprehensive training&awareness initiatives,the project aims to create a positive impact on the well-being of youth in all Partners' country, promoting healthier relationships with technology&contributing to broader societal goals of digital transformation&active citizenship.It will be a complementary in terms of informing&educating the young&families about the issues mentioned,protecting young from social harms &building their future healthy,creating OERs for them by executing the project.
