Lobbying Training for Voluntary Service Organizations

LOBBYING Training aims to enable those active in the youth work with an overview in the core skills required for successful advocacy for better results.

The key training from NCVO is based on the Campaigning Effectiveness Certificate, this provides civil society organisations with an overview in the core skills required for successful advocacy including how to develop policy briefings, how to build wide coalitions, how to use new media and how to engage with a range of policy-makers in an ongoing basis. This provides a strong basis for organisations to develop their own skills and to establish a wide-range of techniques in advocacy.

The venue of the training is near by London. If we will be awarded by the EU, we will pay for your accommodation and food during the training and also 70% of your travel costs. This event is financed by the Youth in Action Programme. Direct costs for participants selected for the event will be covered by the hosting organization, EDYN, (including: accommodation, travel, visa). However, participants will be responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel insurance and 30% of their travel costs as well.

The registration fee will be 90€.
