Living Traditions – Youth Learning through Artistic Research in Rural Contexts

Partner search for a youth project exploring living traditions through artistic research and non-formal learning in a rural context in Southern Italy.

Living Traditions is a youth project developed by RADURA, an artistic research collective based in Basilicata, Italy. The project focuses on youth learning through artistic research, non-formal education and community-based practices in rural contexts.

We are looking for partner organisations interested in sending a small group of young people (max 10 participants + 1 group leader) to Italy. Partner organisations will be involved in participant selection, preparation and follow-up activities.

The project explores how traditions are created, transformed and transmitted, and how young people can engage with cultural practices in a critical and creative way. Activities include participatory observation, artistic workshops, collective reflection and creative documentation.

The project aims to strengthen young people’s competences in critical thinking, intercultural dialogue, teamwork, learning to learn and active citizenship, while fostering youth participation in local cultural life.
