Let's integrate through sport!

The project will be carried out in Zwolen, Masovian Province, in August 2014. Young people from 3 countries will meet to integrate & compete in sport activities

For 8 days 30 young people from European Union countries (8 participants from each of the 3 countries) will struggle in all sorts of sport competitions. The main objective of the project is to build dialogue and support integration between the groups of youth of fewer opportunities. Sport is the main field of running their project activities and the main subject on the basis of which very important issues will be covered (healthy diet, tolerance, fighting stereotypes, accepting diversities, fighting discrimination).
Through planned activities we expect the youth will open to one another, ovecome weakness, shyness and language barriers.
Activities based on joint games and recreation plays, multicultural workshops, national evenings and language animations will deliver space in which young Europeans will have possibility of expressing themselves and getting to know the peer group from the partner’s country. The final action might be a volleyball match with the local youth or some other event. We will use only non-formal methods of learning and educational trips like excursion to Warsaw and XVII century town of Kazimierz Dolny.
Youngsters might document their actions on the blog.
