Mobility for Youth Workers : Training Course
Main aim:
To foster the professional development of youth workers to tackle the challenges of the new generations in terms of personal and social competences.
The main objectives of the International Training are:
• To develop the key competences of the participants in order to improve the quality of their youth work;
• To equip youth workers with new tools that can facilitate their work to improve the personal and social competences of young people, especially those with fewer opportunities;
• To generate spaces for reflection and debate on the current situation of young people and the opportunities for improvement in personal and social competences;
• To exchange tools and good practices among youth workers from five countries on the development of personal and social competences in young people.
Main activity: International Training Course (4 full days, plus arrival day with the welcome dinner and departure day). The TC will likely take place in Autumn 2024 or Spring 2025.
Main sessions of the Training Course: Presentation of participants/organisations, icebreaking and teambuilding games, How to develop personal competences in young people, How to develop social competences in young people, Visit to local organisations and/or Youth centres, EU Programmes for Young people, Key competences and Evaluation.
Number and profile of Participants: 3 participants per partner organisation (2 women and 1 man or 2 men and 1 woman). Youth workers and other professionals in the field of youth who works daily with young people, especially those with fewer opportunities and those experiencing difficulties at social and personal level.
Partnership:
Iniciativa Internacional Joven (Spain) is the applicant of the Project. We are planning to involve other 5 organizations from different parts of Europe.
