Key Comptences for Active Youth Participation “ is a KA153-YOU - Mobility of youth workers (KA153-YOU) (training Course) project that involves 6 organization from 6 different countries ( Spain, Ireland, Portugal, Romania, Greece and Netherlands) aiming at providing youth professionals with tools that will enable them to face current challenges in terms of active and committed youth participation.
The main objectives are:
To develop key competencies of participants in order to improve the quality of their youth work;
To provide youth workers with new tools for active youth participation through the
Development of social and personal competencies of young people, especially those with fewer opportunities;
To generate spaces for reflection and debate on the current situation of youth and youth work methods;
To exchange tools and good practices between youth workers from five countries on the development of personal and social competencies in young people.
Once the project ends, the benefits will continue to be tangible for youth workers and participating organisations. The new skills acquired and/or developed by youth professionals will remain relevant and applicable in their youth work, and can be exploited and used in the future in different contexts and levels, improving the quality of their work, the impact of their interventions and allowing them to launch other similar projects and/or activities, thus expanding the beneficiaries and impact of this project.
The main activity of the project is a Mobility of Youth Workers/TRAINING COURSE that will be held in MÁLAGA (Spain).
