Project Description

ANCHOR (Aligned learNing for Climate education in scHOols with inclusive pRactices) is a European cooperation project that supports lower-secondary schools in delivering climate education more effectively, coherently, and inclusively. Although climate topics are present in curricula, teachers often lack structured, curriculum-aligned materials and practical pedagogical support.

The project brings schools together to co-develop and test climate learning units that combine active learning, reflection, and inclusive strategies, with digital tools used only where they add real value. Teachers will also participate in joint training and peer exchange to strengthen their confidence and skills.

ANCHOR will produce ready-to-use learning units, teaching guidelines, training materials, and open educational resources, helping schools improve climate education practices and ensuring sustainable impact through integration into regular teaching.
