Natural Heritage Management of the Ankara, Turkiye region with collaboration of local authorities to create awareness in about Geoparks and Geoheritage.
The issue of deteriorating natural balance has become increasingly important in recent
years, as its impact can threaten all forms of life. Any plans and goals we make for the
future must intersect with nature at some point. In order to ensure safe and sustainable
progress towards our development goals, we must find solutions to natural degradation
and manage it in a way that reconciles with our goals.
Non-formal education methods will be used to achieve the above objectives. The Erasmus+ goals will be pursued by volunteers who take action to
ensure sustainable nature management, protect and improve ecosystems, stop and
reverse land degradation, prevent the loss of biodiversity, and mitigate the effects of
climate change. They will also work towards the protection and management of natural
heritage.
Volunteers will work alongside scientifically competent staff from Eurasia Natural
History Association and develop leadership, teamwork, and self-confidence. They will
participate in field and laboratory studies, networking activities, and engage with local
volunteers and non-governmental organizations. These activities will provide
opportunities for volunteers to develop a range of skills and competencies, particularly
in scientific and social domains.
