KA210 New Methods and Technologies for the post pandemic School Education System

During the pandemic the Italian school system has adopted new teaching methods such as the DAD Distance
Learning and the DDI Integrated Digital Learning, a new way of doing school for both teachers and pupils.
Unfortunately for our Institute, and as for many others in the national context, the training of teachers on the use of
digital teaching methodologies in classroom teaching, both face-to-face and remote, has also been critical.
In addition to the methodologies, the times of teaching have changed, carried out regularly but slowed down due to
the numerous quarantines of teachers and students in all classes. In this context the insufficiency of adequate digital
instrumentation to manage DID was evident, especially in primary school classes. Added to these constraints is the
lack of digital tools useful for teaching and adequate connectivity in many families.
In 2022, with a national funds, our Institute strengthened the digital and technological structure of the classrooms
with the purchase of teaching equipment and tools. Unfortunately the problem of teachers' poor technological skills
still persists and, above all, still little attention to the inclusion of innovative learning methods for students with
learning disabilities.
Our project was born from these needs and aims to promote strategic cooperation between our Institute and
partners such as other schools, technological training institutes, associations, public and private bodies and institutes
that operate in the field of learning disorders. The project will be an opportunity for:
• discuss innovative methodologies at European and international level that can be adopted in teaching and
for the training process of teachers and students,
• seek a common best practice that integrates the traditional teaching method with the technological/digital
one,
• focus on methods and tools for teaching and including students with learning disabilities.
Interviews, round tables, workshops will be held.
