KA2-Empowering the Next Generation of Tourist Guides "YOUTH-ful-GUIDES"

The "YOUTH-ful-GUIDES" is a project with the primary goal of empowering young individuals to become knowledgeable and engaging tour guides, while fostering skills and business experiences. This multifaceted project encompasses various actions and objectives to achieve its mission, all while emphasizing the incorporation of the principles of sustainable tourism. It underscores the critical importance of preserving the natural environment and promoting environmentally friendly practices during tours.
The project intends to establish a robust network of young guides while instilling the principles of ecotourism. Various activities and events will be organized to attract young talent, and a systematic process will be implemented to manage applications and select new guides who are committed to environmental conservation.
To ensure the quality of tours provided by the young guides, the project will focus on developing educational materials that will also emphasize the principles of sustainable tourism.
The project aims to equip young guides with the necessary skills and knowledge through focused training sessions. An integral part of the initiative is the development of a dedicated application. Additionally, it will actively seek to attract and integrate new groups of guides into the app from all over the world, fostering a community of environmentally conscious guides.
