KA2 Capacity Building project - You(th) Vote

We are about to launch a project about the best practices of making young people interested in politics. Centre for European Progression is working for the young professionals of Brussels. We want to gather the best practices of national political involvement campaigns and create a guideline for the European Parliamentary elections. The low turnout rates showed that people feel less and less interested in politics, especially if it is about European level. We strive to change this pattern. We believe that by encouraging the young people to vote and be more involved in politics their voice will be better heard and politics will care more about this generation.

The timeline of the project:
• Kick-off conference in Brussels
• National workshops with the participation of national political campaigners, trainers, public relation experts
• Several days long exchange in one of the partner countries including professional trainings and the creation of the final guidelines/communiqué
• Dissemination conference as a closing event of the project (attended by relevant stakeholders and decision makers), every partner organisation presents its results and the final guidelines will be published both on paper and online.

We are looking for partners with a solid academic knowledge (for the final guidelines), working with young professionals in the field of political sciences/international relations. For better dissemination of the results and enhanced communication between the partner organisations a website will be set up – the ability of using online tools is a must to be accepted as partners.
