KA154 project empowering young people to use memory and migration to strengthen youth voice and democratic participation.
SALTO Partner Call – Short Project Summary (EN)
Project Type: Erasmus+ KA154 – Youth Participation Activities
Applicant: Türkiye
Project Duration: 12 months
We are developing an international KA154 youth participation project that empowers young people to use memory, migration, and belonging as tools for public expression, youth voice, and democratic participation.
Young people will co-create podcasts, short documentaries, and digital storytelling outputs based on community and diaspora experiences. These media products will be used as advocacy and dialogue tools in structured youth dialogue sessions with municipalities, universities, and civil society organisations.
The project focuses on shifting young people from being passive subjects of stories to active agenda-setters who produce public narratives, engage with local decision-makers, and participate in democratic processes.
Key components include:
Youth-led podcast and documentary production
Transnational field work and exchanges in partner countries
Structured youth dialogue with local authorities and stakeholders
A Youth Memory Declaration with youth-led policy messages
Digital public platforms for youth voice and visibility
We are looking for partner organisations working with youth, diaspora, minority, or migrant communities, and with experience in youth participation, civic engagement, or digital youth work.
