KA153-YOU TC "MANAGING THE POLARITIES OF DEMOCRACY – A Key to Mature Youth Participation in Civil and Political Processes"

“Values, Virtues, Integrity” Foundation is looking for the last one or two partners interested in being part of the "Managing the Polarities of Democracy" TC taking part in Samokov, Bulgaria in June/July 2025.

Preference will be given to organizations from countries that have direct cheap flights or good buss/train connections to Sofia.

In the partnership already are Italy, Turkey, Ukraine, RNM, Romania and Bulgaria, so we are NOT looking for partners from these countries.

The project/TC itself will gather 28 participants from up to 8 different European countries. The foundation will apply for the TC under Key Action 1 in the 20/02/2024 deadline.
The TC Managing the Polarities of Democracy aims to improve youth workers methodology on youth participation in civil and political life.
During the TC participants will:
- Understand the complexity of democracy and learn how to get the positives and avoid the negatives of 10 basic democratic values viewed as polarities to leverage rather then problems to solve.
- Learn how to apply this innovative approach for strengthening inclusive democratic participation
- Get support in strengthening bottom-up and top-down youth initiatives
The methodology we will use is non-formal education, allowing to give voice to all of the participants.
The project partners we aim to reach are youth workers from organizations and institutions active in youth participation activities.
The participants we aim to reach are youth workers coming from different social and cultural backgrounds. It is recommended that 50% of the participants are with fewer opportunities.
We ask our partners to take an active role in the dissemination of results.
Eligible countries are EU Program Countries.

Make sure that you are an eligible partner (i.e. that your organization is not involved in more than 5 KA1 Erasmus+ project proposals in the Youth sector at the current call)!
