KA152 - Critical Digital Minds

This Erasmus+ project is a European youth exchange focused on the impact of excessive digitalisation on young people’s mental health, and on promoting conscious digital disconnection and mindfulness as tools for wellbeing.
In a context of constant hyperconnectivity, the project addresses issues such as stress, anxiety, lack of concentration and emotional disconnection derived from intensive screen use, encouraging a more critical, balanced and healthy relationship with technology.
The exchange will take place in O Courel (Lugo, Spain), a natural environment that fosters reflection, calm and contact with nature, over eight days, from 4 to 11 October 2026. The project will involve 30 young people from six European countries.
Through non-formal education methodologies, experiential workshops and outdoor activities, participants will identify unhealthy digital habits and the reasons why they fall into them, explore the impact of digitalisation on their emotional wellbeing, and acquire practical tools for self-care, mindfulness and the regulation of digital use. Activities will include reflective workshops, group discussions, creative exercises, guided mindfulness practices, outdoor activities and moments of digital disconnection. The project promotes emotional awareness, critical thinking and intercultural learning, contributing to mental health, youth empowerment and European social cohesion.
The exchange is aimed at young people aged 18–25 who are interested in mental health, wellbeing, personal development and/or mindful use of technology. No prior experience in mindfulness is required.
Partner organisations are expected to select and prepare participants, and support dissemination and follow-up at local level.
