Our project is based on the transfer of cultural differences between cultures with various musical activities. 3MS: MEETİNG OF MULTİCULTURAL MUSİC İN TURKEY
Our project consortium wants to discover Europe's musical richness and musical heritage. Can understandings between people develop further by coming together and sharing their knowledge and skills? How can a better mutual understanding between young people all over Europe be created? How can teenagers use music to connect and communicate with each other? How can cultural heritage be saved from being neglected in times of health problems such as pandemics?
We are looking for answers to such questions. The project will try to address such questions.
The general purpose of our 3Ms: Meeting of Multicultural Music in Turkey project aims to appreciate different EU musical heritage, to increase mutual understanding and musical expression.
The partnership will carry out useful work to promote our music and cultural wealth, and ensure the recognition of our partners' music and culture.
The young people who will take part in our project are between the ages of 15 and 25, who have not fully enjoyed their European Union citizenship rights due to their socio-economically disadvantaged situation, have not traveled to any European country, and will be determined from those who are intertwined with music. With the covid19 epidemic turning into a pandemic in early 2020, young people had to live in isolation for a long time in home quarantine due to the measures taken in Europe. During the pandemic process, unfounded information including speculative news about the future of the EU, fear, panic and hate speech about the virus spread rapidly. It is likely that the future anxiety of socio-economically disadvantaged youth who will take part in this project, who will be psychologically negatively affected and pessimistic, will increase. In this context, young people with limited means; they need to gain the awareness that their future is the EU. The way for young people to acquire EU awareness is possible by developing their sense of belonging to the European Union.
Each partner organization in our project will participate in the planned mobility with 5 participating young people and 1 group leader. The duration of the mobility is 7 days.
The activities planned in our project activity in Kırıkkale Yahsihan are planned under 2 headings;
1) Culture transfer activities in our project;
Participating young people will prepare to introduce their culture to other country participants. In Kırıkkale Yahşihan project activity preparation meeting, which will be held online, with visuals and With presentations, the opportunity to introduce their culture with concrete cultural elements will be presented in the project activity in Kırıkkale Yahşihan.
Every morning of the project activities, with the support of the group leaders, young people will start the day with morning sports. In morning sports, each country will play its own cultural games to other countries. Each country will transfer their culture to other countries by organizing a cultural night in the evening of their event day.
2) Music events in our project;
Before the Yahşihan project activities, the participating young people will be asked to do research on their own music culture, vocal artists and popular songs. Education, conversation, concerts and shows will be held in Yahşihan district of Kırıkkale. Young people will be divided into groups in the project activities to be held in Yahşihan; brainstorming and discussion method will be asked to convey their musical culture. Musical instruments, famous musicians, singers, and musical stories will be used as tools so that the achievements of group work can be experienced by the participating young people in a real environment.

Each country will introduce their music culture, popular vocal artists to other countries on their own day of the event, and will teach other countries a piece of their own popular music, how the participants are played with the instrument, through workshops. At the end of each day, meetings will be held with group leaders regarding the achievements of that day and the activities to be held the next day. Solutions will be produced for possible problems in these meetings. On the last day of the activities, a concert will be given to the local people with the repertoire consisting of these works. The works will be recorded by video and each group will publish all the works on their own youtube channels that they have already set up. In addition, a website called "multiculturelmusic" will be created with the equal participation of all partners.
Yahşihan Intercultural Music Events:
Assignment and responsibility sharing will be made on the basis of full participation according to the subject titles of the activities to be carried out in Yahşihan.
Subject Headings:
1. What is the most listened music genre in your country?
2. Who is the most popular music artist, singer in your country?
3.Tell the music story of a song you selected.
4. Transfer a popular music piece of your country to other country participants by playing with your instrument
5. Perform a popular folkloric dance in your country: A dance (Flamenco, tarantella, marbles, waltz, etc.) determined by the joint decision of all participating young people and the group leader will be presented to other countries.
