KA 2 CBY Region 9- BUILDING CONNECTIONS THROUGH HIGH QUALITY YOUTH EXCHANGES

Main aim: To enhance the quality and impact of Youth Exchanges between Europe and
Sub-Saharan Africa by providing youth workers and organisations with tools,
methodologies and competences to promote empathy, tolerance, and mutual
understanding.
The main objectives of the project are:
 To develop the key competences of professionals in the field of youth and youth
leaders in order to design, implement and evaluate high-quality youth exchanges that
foster empathy, tolerance and mutual understanding between Europe and Sub-Saharan
Africa;
 To exchange experiences, good practices and methodologies between organisations in
the field of youth and youth workers from European and Sub-Saharan Africa, focusing
on promoting intercultural dialogue, combating racism and enhancing inclusivity in
Youth Exchanges;
 To create new educational tools/resources for professionals in the field of youth that
are specifically tailored to the realities and cultural context of Sub-Saharan Africa,
enabling them to improve the quality of Youth Exchanges and intercultural learning
experiences;
 To encourage active youth participation in intercultural activities that promote the
values of empathy, tolerance and mutual respect, while promoting their personal and
professional development;
 To establish an international network of organisations from both Europe and SubSaharan Africa that will foster cooperation, capacity building and long-term
partnerships to improve the quality and impact of Youth Exchanges between the two
regions.
