(KA-152) Dissemination of Environmental Sustainability by Developing Digital Competencies

Our aim is to spread and improve sustainability knowledge among teenagers and lead them to spread it through social media. We hope to increase teenagers' participation in environmental activities and improve their knowledge about sustainability. Throughout the project, we also aim to increase the digital competencies of teenagers, create a culturally diverse atmosphere, contribute to academic development, encourage teens to effectively use the healing power of social media, makeing sustainability awareness applicable in kitchens, and ensure that sustainability becomes a lifestyle in the long term.

In the course of the project, we are planning to hold an introductory meeting and sustainability workshops with our stakeholders who are knowledgeable in the sustainability field. Additionally, a hands-on workshop will be held amongst conscious young people working in the field of sustainability to disseminate sustainability activities on the digital platform. In this application, young people will be divided into teams to work on determining their target audience, identifying problems, and developing sustainable disseminating solution proposals focused on social media. On the last day of the workshop they will work on implementing their solution proposal in real life and by doing so they will have performed their first real-life implementation. Afterward, they will discuss the efficiency of their proposals among the teams, give feedback to each other and complete the activity in an encouraging atmosphere of discussion. Furthermore, there will be a session where they present each other about environmentalism.
