Joining Paths: Intercultural Youth Exchange through Art

Youth exchange in Yuncos (Spain) exploring interculturality through art, creativity and non-formal education.

Joining Paths is an Erasmus+ youth exchange focused on interculturality and artistic expression. The project will bring together young people from Spain and another European country for one week in Yuncos (Toledo, Spain), with the aim of promoting intercultural understanding, inclusion and creativity through art and non-formal education.

The exchange will involve 14 young people from Spain and 14 young people from the partner country, aged between 13 and 17 years old, as well as 2 youth leaders per group. Participants will stay with host families from the hosting group, allowing a closer and more authentic cultural experience.

During the week, participants will take part in artistic workshops, group activities and intercultural experiences that will help them share their cultures, express themselves creatively and strengthen values such as respect, empathy and cooperation.

We are currently looking for one partner organisation interested in participating in this exchange and building a mutual collaboration, with the possibility of hosting our group in the future (this year or next year). The exchange is planned for August or September 2026, with exact dates still to be confirmed.

Project overview

Joining Paths: Intercultural Youth Exchange through Art is a project by
Proyecto Kieu
taking place
from 2026-08-01 till 2026-09-01
This project relates to:
Youth Exchanges
and is focusing on:
  • Art
  • Democracy/Active citizenship
  • European citizenship
  • Human rights
  • Integration
  • Intercultural dialogue
  • Music
  • Non-formal learning
This project can include young people with fewer opportunities like
  • Social obstacles
  • Economic obstacles
  • Educational difficulties
  • Cultural differences
The project is open to the participation of young people with fewer opportunities, including cultural, social and economic differences, thus promoting inclusion and equal opportunities. This means that some participants may come from fewer opportunity backgrounds, but it is not a requirement for all participants. As an organisation, we offer the necessary support to ensure the participation and inclusion of all young people, especially those with fewer opportunities. This includes support in the preparation before the exchange, accompanying participants during activities, adapting inclusive non-formal activities, and coordinating accommodation in host families. A safe, educational and inclusive environment is also guaranteed throughout the whole experience.
